Mission
The mission of the Workforce & Education Committee is to connect Loudoun County employers, local postsecondary and secondary education providers, and human resource support networks to develop and retain an exceptionally well qualified County workforce.
The committee invites Loudoun employers and human resource representatives to advise education providers concerning critical employment needs and skill gaps.
The Committee currently hosts two signature events each year; Job Prep Express and the Hire Loudoun Career Fair.
Additional long-term projects of the committee include:
- expanding internship opportunities for high school and college students throughout the county
- assisting employers with addressing hard-to-fill education gaps within the workforce.
