Press Release: Loudoun Chamber Applauds Member Data Center Companies for Signing Ratepayer Protection Pledge
13 Chamber members commit to paying for their own energy needs, protecting residential and business ratepayers
LEESBURG, Va. — The Loudoun Chamber of Commerce applauds its members who signed the White House’s Ratepayer Protection Pledge, promising to pay for their own energy needs while protecting homeowners and small businesses from higher energy costs.
The Loudoun Chamber members that signed the pledge include: Amazon, Cloud HQ, Compass Datacenters, CyrusOne, Digital Realty, Equinix, Google, Microsoft, Prologis, QTS Data Centers, STACK Infrastructure and TA Digital Group. Dominion Energy also signed the pledge.
The pledge commits participating data center companies to secure and pay for the new power generation and grid infrastructure needed to serve their facilities. Signatories also commit to investing in local jobs and workforce development while supporting grid reliability and community resilience.

As investment in these facilities accelerates, it is essential that energy and infrastructure costs are allocated fairly and transparently so ratepayers are protected and communities fully benefit from this growth.”
