Born in New Carrollton, MD. Grew up in Waldorf, MD. Moved to Loudoun in 2010 while working at Oracle in Reston.

Tell us about your business/nonprofit, and how long you’ve been in your industry.

How did you get into this line of work?

After my dream of being an athlete didn’t go the way I wanted I was given an opportunity at Oracle to get into the technology field.

Have you had any special mentors or inspirations that guided your career?

I have had several mentors throughout my career but my father and mother have been my biggest inspiration.

What is the best part of your job and why?

Providing a space for technologists to think outside the box and solve our customers issues.

What is it like doing business in Loudoun?

Being in my community and providing back to my community is a dream of mine. That is why I mentor, coach and train here in Loudoun County.

What does Arab American Heritage Month mean to you?

As a first generation Arab American, it is very important to bring awareness to this month. Growing up during a time of uncertainty and being told no because of my race was very difficult. If we had awareness to this month before I believe a lot of the bias that was shown against me would of changed. This month is an opportunity to bringing awareness to all the good that Arab Americans are able to bring into our community.

Favorite things to do when you are not working?

I coach flag football and youth basketball here in Loudoun County. I love to travel with my family to new destinations. Spending time out with my friends and reconnecting also helps me decompress from busy weeks.
