Ambassadors Council Spotlight 2025: Tim Davis, John Marshall Bank

Thank you to Tim Davis, Commercial Lender at John Marshall Bank, for serving on the Ambassadors Council!

What inspired you to become a Loudoun Chamber Ambassador Council Member?

As a Loudoun Chamber Ambassador Council Member, I could be put in a position to give back to the Chamber by helping new members get the most out of their new Chamber membership.

How does your business contribute to the local Loudoun community?

As a community bank, we lend money to local entrepreneurs to provide them with the capital to grow, start and expand businesses in the community. This helps to create economic prosperity, jobs, and products/services in the County.

What is one memorable connection or experience you’ve had through the Chamber?

I first got involved in the Chamber to make connections to help develop new business. However, along the way, I met great people who helped me in my personal life as well, such as my realtor, who helped my wife and I buy our first home in Ashburn.

What advice would you give to someone looking to grow their network in Loudoun County?

My advice would be to begin by doing a little bit of a lot. The Chamber has so many great events and ways to get plugged in. Try exploring what the Chamber has to offer over a few months, and then take a step back and think about where you want to dive deeper to grow those relationships.

How has being an Ambassador helped you grow personally or professionally?

It has allowed me the opportunity to meet new Chamber members and attend ribbon cuttings for new businesses that I would likely not have met.

What is one event or program hosted by the Loudoun Chamber that you never miss and why?

The PolicyMaker Series events.

I didn’t start attending these until a few years into my involvement with the Chamber, but these are great events to learn more about how policy is shaping the County, which affects everyone.
