What inspired you to become a Loudoun Chamber Ambassador Council Member?

Supporting fellow small businesses within the Chamber community is a true passion of mine. As a mentor to new members, I not only introduce them to the many advantages the Chamber provides but also take the time to understand the unique story behind each business—discovering what inspires them and forging meaningful personal connections.

How does your business contribute to the local Loudoun community?

I make it a point to attend ribbon cuttings and groundbreaking ceremonies, joining in the celebration of others’ achievements and important milestones. Hearing their stories and witnessing their accomplishments firsthand is truly one of the most fulfilling aspects of being part of the Loudoun business community.

Each year, You-nique Interior Designs partners with a local nonprofit, and this year, we are thrilled to lend our expertise to Tree of Life Ministries. We are offering comprehensive design services to SimplyBe, their Leesburg coffee shop. Visit the coffee shop to support a great mission and view the transformation firsthand!

What is one memorable connection or experience you’ve had through the Chamber?

A particularly memorable experience I’ve had through the Chamber was being named a Finalist in the Flex Location category of the Small Business Awards this year. It was an incredible honor, and I felt deeply grateful for the award recognition. The application process itself was also rewarding, as it gave me the chance to thoughtfully reflect on my accomplishments and truly appreciate the journey I’ve taken.

What advice would you give to someone looking to grow their network in Loudoun?

Get involved! You truly reap what you sow. There’s no need to participate in every opportunity the Chamber provides—focus on the programs and events that genuinely resonate with you and your business.

Join a committee that aligns with your goals and interests. Make it a point to attend the monthly Breakfasts, Loudoun on Tap events, and, most importantly, consider joining a LeadShare group to expand your network and maximize your Chamber experience.

How has being an Ambassador helped you grow personally or professionally?

Being an Ambassador has been an invaluable experience, allowing me to develop as a small business owner and connect with other driven professionals. I am passionate about supporting fellow businesses within our community, fostering connections, and mutual growth.

What is one event or program hosted by the Loudoun Chamber that you never miss and why?

I truly enjoy attending the Loudoun on Tap events through the Chamber. These gatherings are hosted at outstanding venues such as Morven Park, Bear Chase, and the Salamander, among others. The relaxed, informal atmosphere creates the perfect setting to engage with fellow members and meet new people, fostering meaningful relationships within our small business community.
