Year End Letter from Chamber President & CEO Tony Howard
Delivering Results for Loudoun’s Business Community in 2025
As we kick off 2026, I want to take a moment to celebrate what the Loudoun Chamber accomplished for our community in 2025. The Loudoun Chamber’s top priority has always been strengthening our community and supporting those who serve it.
That commitment was on full display at the Annual Loudoun Valor Awards in April, where we honored 175 heroic first responders and citizens whose courage and service represent Loudoun at its very best. It was especially meaningful to recognize Sterling Firefighter Trevor Brown, who made the ultimate sacrifice when he died in a February 2025 home explosion.
At year’s end, the Loudoun Chamber Foundation continued to invest in our community by awarding $72,000 in grants to 16 local nonprofits. Since 2015, our Foundation has awarded more than $400,000 to organizations working every day to improve lives and expand opportunity across Loudoun.
Throughout 2025, the Chamber remained a strong voice for business, supporting housing affordability, advocating for Western Loudoun’s rural economy, and promoting balanced data center land use policies. We also led efforts to preserve President James Monroe’s Oak Hill Estate as a future state park, while supporting displaced federal workers and contractors through initiatives such as the NOVAnext initiative and TalentCapital.AI.
And while we fight for smart public policies that keep our economy moving forward, we also believe it’s just as important to celebrate the entrepreneurs, job creators, and community leaders who power Loudoun’s success. Nearly 900 Chamber members, combined, joined us for the 2025 Annual Meeting and Community Leadership Awards in January and the Loudoun Small Business Awards in November. These programs spotlight the critical role business plays in building a strong, vibrant Loudoun.
One of our most exciting milestones in 2025 was launching the National Civics Bee® in Loudoun, part of a nationwide movement to inspire middle school students to explore civic issues, understand how government works, and become engaged citizens.
We also strengthened leadership across Loudoun through our Emerging Leaders Program, equipping rising professionals to lead with purpose, build strong workplace cultures, and drive long-term success.
Everything we achieved in 2025 was possible because members like you showed up, leaned in, and made an impact.
Thank you for your leadership and support. Our momentum is strong and the best is yet to come.

Sincerely, Tony Howard
Loudoun Chamber President & CEO
