Tell us your story of how your business evolved into what it is today.

16 Years ago when I stepped out on my own I was renting a 12×12 room to make a difference in people’s lives. Now in 2020, after 8 years in Lansdowne and 5 years in One Loudoun, the practice is now moving into a bigger location with 14 different spinal rehabilitation machines and we are continuously expanding without having to sacrifice patient care! As we have evolved as a practice so have the treatment, research and technology. We are able to take care of so many more people in the community and help people achieve life changing results. I am excited to see where the future takes us!

What would it mean to you and your company to win a Small Business Award?

To us this award means we are doing our part to be a great member of Loudoun County and we hope to continue building, growing and giving back to our community. To our business this award would bring great recognition to the chiropractic industry, especially Corrective Chiropractic.

What is the smallest thing that has made the largest impact on your business?

Showing empathy to patients, they realize that they are just not another number, that we actually care about them and want them to be the healthiest version of themselves as they can be.

Who is the one person that has influenced you the most in your career?

As far as my professional career goes it would have to be Dr. Don Harrison. He passed away a few years ago but I would not be doing Corrective Chiropractic if it wasn’t for him starting the research into Chiropractic to find out why and what to do to actually work on correcting patients spines.

What is your favorite thing about running a business in Loudoun County?

Helping people in the community I live in, having the opportunity to make a positive impact on each person I come in contact with.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Since I was early on in high school I wanted to be a chiropractor. Before that I had thought of following in my oldest brother’s footsteps and joining the United States Marine Corps.

What is a book that changed your life and why?

I am very selective in books that I read and they typically have to be given to me; but one book I have read (and listened to) multiple times is “Success is a Choice” by Rick Pitino. This book got me through Chiropractic school. There was a time I wanted to quit, not many people know this, and my oldest brother Paul gave me this book to read, he might not even remember that, but it gave me the courage and will power to keep going. I have listened to many books on audible, but this one is number one for me.

When you’re not at your desk, where can we find you on the weekends/what is another passion you have?

My passion is being the best father, husband and grandfather I can be to my family. If I am not at the office I will be with my family. I also enjoy being outside, weather permitting, like hiking, golfing or skiing.

How do you see your business evolving in the next 5 years?

One goal we have is to open a second office in the Western part of the county. Another is to continue to transform the mindset and way of thinking about chiropractic, to help people to understand there is another option out there so they don’t have to continue to suffer.
