In an industry where community banks are absorbed by larger national institutions with regularity, it is rare one reaches a milestone such as Middleburg Bank celebrates in July—its 90th anniversary.

Today’s full-service commercial bank serving individuals, families and businesses across Virginia, including four branches in Loudoun, is a far cry from its inception in 1924 when it was founded by two leading Middleburg individuals—both masters of the Middleburg Hunt—Daniel C. Sands and Charlotte Noland.
