Help Shape Loudoun’s Future; Attend a Silver Line Scenario Planning Work Session May 28
Loudoun County encourages anyone interested in the development around the future Metrorail stations in Loudoun to attend an interactive work session from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Moorefield Station Elementary School, 22325 Mooreview Parkway in Ashburn.
The work session will include a presentation and interactive activities. Participants will hear about the process the Loudoun County project team is using to consider alternative growth scenarios for land around the future Metro stations. People attending the work session will help shape the future of Loudoun County by sharing their ideas about new development. During the work session, participants will have the opportunity to talk to team members about the issues most important to them and help set priorities for the land use scenario planning study as the process moves forward.
This work session is part of a larger study initiated by the Board of Supervisors in 2013 to evaluate the development potential of the Dulles Metrorail Service Districts
which were created in 2012. The purpose of the study is to evaluate planned land uses around the future Metrorail stations. More information about the upcoming work session and the larger study is available at www.loudoun.gov/silverlinecpam.
RSVPs are not needed. Anyone who requires any type of reasonable accommodation as a result of a physical, sensory, or mental disability to participate in the work session may contact the Loudoun County Department of Planning and Zoning at 703-777-0246 or dpz@loudoun.gov.
Questions and comments are welcome and should be directed to Richard Klusek, Project Manager, Loudoun County Department of Planning and Zoning, at 703-777-0246 or Richard.Klusek@loudoun.gov.
