How to set a positive tone for workplace relationships, avoid harassing behaviors, and create a safe, productive culture for your business.

Creating a safe and productive workplace that’s free from harassment is important for every business – in fact, it’s the law. However, it can prove to be particularly challenging for small business owners.

Join the Loudoun Chamber Small Business Committee to learn about harassment identification and prevention, learn good practices to better manage potential harassment situations, and learn how to build a more compliant, productive workplace by:

• Identifying behaviors that contribute to harassment and a hostile work environment
• Mitigating and preventing harassment through employee awareness and training
• Addressing difficult conversations relating to harassment
• Avoiding costly mistakes in your policies and actions when addressing workplace harassment

The leader of this workshop, Dave Morell, is a business-owner advocate and consultant. As Area Manager for BBSI in Northern Virginia, Dave and the BBSI team provide small- to medium-sized businesses with people, process, and compliance solutions in the areas of Human Resources and Risk Management. His diverse experiences in organization effectiveness, business development, and operations and process enable him to develop effective solutions and strengthen performance results. As a leader, collaborator, and entrepreneur, Dave has transformed and developed teams and processes to deliver business results at BBSI clients, as well as Kraft Foods, Cadbury, Mars, and P&G.
