Loudoun Cares 5th Annual Art Auction

SAVOR the Moment
Join Loudoun Cares for the 5th Annual Art Auction Fundraiser!
Saturday, October 14, 2023

Loudoun Cares Annual Art Auction is our biggest fundraising event and we are thrilled to offer it to you again this year. The auction features the work of local artists in the Virginia, West Virginia, DC and Maryland regions and proceeds support our mission of Connecting Those Who Serve with Those in Need. Our ConnectLine and online Volunteer Center connect nonprofits and residents in need along with volunteers wanting to give back. We need your help to continue our good work serving our community at large, partnering with our local nonprofits and the faith community, and connecting our volunteers. Our vital programs help our most vulnerable residents find the resources they need and support our local nonprofits with essential volunteers for their programs.

NOVAIS partners will host our event again this year at the Center for Innovative Technology Building (CIT) in Herndon. The auction will be in person with online bidding powered by ReadySetAuction mobile platform on Saturday October 14, 2023.

But art is not all we have for you this year! SAVOR the Moment is not only about visual art. It is about the art of taste. We are honored to announce that both Head Chef Tarver King and Chef Nathan Shapiro from the Waverly Spring Restaurant will be providing you with some art of their own. This dynamic duo, formerly from The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm, will be feeding your senses with their culinary genius.

Further, Esquire Magazine named King as one of its top five chefs to watch. Chef King has also been nominated for the James Beard Award seven times (Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Rising Star), and has been named RAMMY Restaurant Association Metropolitan (Washington) Chef of the Year. (full bio)
