Come Experience the “Hillsboro Holiday Homes Tour 2025 Out-of-Town Edition” and discover the magic of an 18th and 19th century of the Hillsboro area!
The ticketed tour includes 6 historic homes, all decked out with crafted fresh greenery decorations and other materials sourced locally.
Hear about the history of the town, the homes and their owners while soaking in the warmth of holidays preparation. Enjoy burning logs on the fire, and the perfume of fresh pine as you walk back in time touring specially selected and decorated houses.
Local musicians will keep your visit lively, delighting your group with their performances.
This year’s tour is out-of-town. Visitors will pick-up-their passes and booklets in the heart of the Christmas market at the Old Stone School then drive to locations in the immediate Hillsboro area.

This year you can enjoy the tour in 3 different ways: on your own in the morning with a booklet, with guides in the afternoon enjoying live performances along the way and, in the evening the ambiance becomes even more magical with a guided candle-light tour and live performances.
