The Coalition of Northern Virginia Chambers (CNVC) is proud to announce the “Doing Business With Metro” Procurement Forum, a half-day event where Northern Virginia businesses can meet with senior Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority procurement officials to learn more about how they can compete for contracting opportunities with Metro.
Suzette Moore, WMATA’s Chief Procurement Officer, will provide the keynote remarks on the various purchasing and procurement opportunities with the Authority. In addition, Managers from WMATA’s procurement branches – Construction, Rail, Bus, IT, Inventory – will participate in Matchmaking sessions with prospective vendors to discuss future contracting opportunities. Meanwhile, additional Program Managers from the Construction and IT groups will be on hand.
WMATA will provide on-site vendor registration for companies that wish to join the Authority’s purchasing system, and representatives from the Small Business Programs Office will discuss WMATA’s SBPO Minority Business Programs.
*The campus is conveniently located a short walk (.2 miles) from the Virginia Square-GMU Metro Station (Orange & Silver lines). Hourly parking is available in the Founders Hall Garage (located off of Founders Way North) for a rate of $3 per hour or $15 for the day. Nearby metered street parking is also available.
Annual Meeting & Community Leadership Awards
The Loudoun Chamber celebrated it’s Annual Meeting & Community Leadership Awards on March 3, 2022. We honored top business and community leaders and celebrated the success of the Chamber’s 2021 Board of Directors Chair, Stacey Metcalfe, Morven Park, and welcome in our 2022 Board.
The 2022 Community Leadership Award winners in each category will have the opportunity to select one nonprofit organization to receive a $1,000 grant, thanks to the generosity of the Community Foundation of Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties.
The 40th Annual Chamber Classic has been Loudoun County’s premier business golf tournament for nearly four decades. Held at The Club at Creighton Farms, the Chamber Classic offers our sponsors tremendous marketing exposure, and an incomparable day of golf on this Jack Nicklaus designed course. If your company’s target market includes senior level executives and business owners who have a passion for the game of golf, we invite you to consider an Annual Chamber Classic sponsorship.
