Ambassador Spotlight 2026: Veronica Moore

Thank you to Veronica Moore, CEO/Founder of  You-nique Interior Designs for serving as a Chamber Ambassador

What inspired you to become a Loudoun Chamber Ambassador Council Member, and what does the role mean to you?

Supporting fellow small businesses within the Chamber community is a true passion of mine. As a mentor to new members, I not only introduce them to the many advantages the Chamber provides but also take the time to understand the unique story behind each business—discovering what inspires them and forging meaningful personal connections.

How does your business or organization contribute to the Loudoun County community?

Veronica Moore, CEO/Owner, You-nique Interior Designs

As a Chamber Ambassador, I make it a priority to attend ribbon cuttings and groundbreaking ceremonies, celebrating the achievements and milestones of local businesses. Hearing their stories and witnessing their accomplishments firsthand is one of the most rewarding aspects of being part of the Loudoun business community.

Motivated by my passion for education, I actively support LCPS each year through a range of initiatives, including the Job for A Day program. This year, I was honored be asked to launch a Family Consumer Science unit by leading a 90-minute “Introduction to Interior Design” workshop for 100 students. I designed an engaging, hands-on session where students created their own projects. To further enhance their end-of-unit work, I also donated fabric books and flooring samples from my vendors, providing valuable resources for their learning experience.

What is one memorable connection, moment, or experience you’ve had through the Loudoun Chamber?

A particularly memorable experience I’ve had through the Chamber was being named a Finalist in the Flex Location category of the Small Business Awards last year. It was an incredible honor, and I felt deeply grateful for the award recognition. The application process itself was also rewarding, as it gave me the chance to thoughtfully reflect on my accomplishments and truly appreciate the journey I’ve taken.

What advice would you give to someone looking to intentionally grow their professional network in Loudoun County?

Get involved! You truly reap what you sow. There’s no need to participate in every opportunity the Chamber provides—focus on the programs and events that genuinely resonate with you and your business. Join a committee that aligns with your goals and interests. Make it a point to attend the monthly Breakfasts, Loudoun on Tap events, and, most importantly, consider joining a LeadShare group to expand your network and maximize your Chamber experience.

What Loudoun Chamber event or program do you never miss, and why does it stand out to you?

I enjoy attending the Loudoun on Tap events through the Chamber. These gatherings are hosted at outstanding venues such as Morven Park, Bear Chase, and the Salamander, among others. The relaxed, informal atmosphere creates the perfect setting to engage with fellow members and meet new people, fostering meaningful relationships within our small business community.

How has serving as an Ambassador Council Member helped you grow as a leader—both professionally and personally?

Serving as an Ambassador has been an incredibly rewarding journey, allowing me to connect with driven professionals throughout the community. Through this role, I have experienced significant growth as both a business owner and a leader. By cultivating authentic relationships, demonstrating integrity, and setting a positive example for new members of the small business community, I strive to create a lasting and meaningful impact.

What is one tip or best practice you would share with new Loudoun Chamber members to help them get the most value from their membership?

Building trusting relationships and serving the community are essential. Be authentic and approach each interaction with a spirit of service. As people get to know your personal brand and develop trust in you, they’ll feel more comfortable referring you to others.

What leadership skill has been most valuable to you in your role as a Chamber Ambassador, and how do you apply it?

Authenticity has proven to be my most valuable leadership skill in building trust and lasting relationships. By embracing your genuine self and showing vulnerability—whether that means admitting when you don’t have all the answers, seeking guidance, or owning up to mistakes—you foster deeper, more meaningful connections. This openness creates an environment where trust can flourish, and relationships truly thrive.

Accountability is equally essential. When you commit to a group, holding yourself accountable by being present and actively engaged demonstrates reliability and respect for your peers.

How do you balance advocating for your own business while serving the broader mission of the Chamber and the Loudoun community?

While it’s not always easy, making time to serve the community is essential. It takes dedication and effort to balance these responsibilities effectively. I focus on prioritizing tasks and thoughtfully scheduling appointments to ensure that both my business and community commitments receive the attention they deserve.

What is one fun, unexpected, or little-known fact about you that most people at the Chamber may not know?

A fun fact that most people don’t know about me is that I used to be the drummer in a garage band, performing at neighborhood parties in Ashburn. Drumming runs in my family—my brother is a talented musician and drummer, and I learned from watching him rather than taking formal lessons. Our band played a wide range of genres, and some of my favorite songs to perform were “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Honky Tonk Women,” and “Free Fallin’.”
