Ambassador Council Spotlight 2025: Carol Kearney
Thank you to Carol A. Kearney, Momentum Realty, LLC, Owner/Broker/Realtor, for all you do on the Ambassadors Council!
What inspired you to become a Loudoun Chamber Ambassador Council Member?
I love helping people navigate the chamber and build their business.
How does your business contribute to the local Loudoun community?
I help people buy, sell, and invest in real estate in a manner that truly makes sure I understand the needs and wants of my clients. I am a dedicated volunteer and have been throughout my life. I currently volunteer as a LeadShare leader, Ambassador, Stephen Ministry, and leader in my community, and I support about 8 non-profits.
What is one memorable connection or experience you’ve had through the Chamber?
The kind words and support I give and receive in every chamber connection. Choosing only one memorable thing after 19 years of membership is hard. I think it would be the appreciation from my LeadShare members of my leadership.
What advice would you give to someone looking to grow their network in Loudoun County?
Givers gain. I really like helping others, and I think many people do all the talking and very little listening. Give, listen, and sincerely care for other,s and you will build a GREAT sustainable business.
Also, remember that how you treat people is very important.
How has being an Ambassador helped you grow personally or professionally?
I have built my network by being a part of this amazing group of professionals and business owners.
What is one event or program hosted by the Loudoun Chamber that you never miss and why?
Loudoun on Tap — specifically at The Salamander. I love being able to spend some time just speaking with other chamber members – especially new members. I also mention Salamander, as that is not somewhere I would generally go on my own initiative.
The chamber has given me the chance over the past 19 years to visit many venues I would never go to on my own.
