Health & Wellness LeadShare Spotlight 2026
Thank you, Dylan Beckner, LCSW, PMH-C of Beckner Counseling, the leader of the Health & Wellness LeadShare group, for answering a few questions!
Tell us the most unique or interesting thing you’d want us to know about your LeadShare group.
The most unique or interesting part of our group is that we really are like one big family. Our virtual meetings are a way that we all collaborate and work together to solve each other’s business challenges or discuss how each of us is tackling the day-to-day things that come up as healthcare professionals, and we have a lot of fun doing it!
How did you first get involved with LeadShare?
I first got involved with LeadShare after Allison Tepper of Tepper Nutrition invited me to join. She had mentioned that there was an open mental health seat, and I saw it as a great opportunity to market my business.
I really believe my practice has grown into what it is today as a result of LeadShare.
What is the most fulfilling part about being a leader of your LeadShare group?
The most fulfilling part of leading this group is when new members join and ease right into the family that we have created. We have a wonderful sense of belonging here.
What has been the most unexpected benefit you have received from participating in LeadShare?
The most unexpected benefit is the relationship building.
I am not from Northern Virginia, but through joining LeadShare, I now see so many people that I recognize or have met from different events all throughout the county. Knowing 16 other health care providers is also a huge perk!
What would you tell someone considering joining LeadShare?
I would tell them to visit all of the LeadShares at least once and see what feels like the best fit for you. There is no doubt that you will walk away from each meeting feeling like you just made another friend.
