As the nation approaches the 250th anniversary of American independence, Together We Win, a living history weekend at Oatlands, invites visitors to step into the past to explore how the ideals born in 1776 were tested, defended, and reshaped during the First and Second World Wars. On April 25-26, 2026, Oatlands becomes a living classroom where the past comes alive through the voices of soldiers, auxiliaries, and civilians whose collective efforts supported the Allied cause at home and abroad.
Through educational demonstrations and storytelling, visitors will discover how ingenuity, sacrifice, and cooperation transcended divisions of race, gender, and nationality, even as many who served faced discrimination at home. These wartime experiences reveal how ordinary people helped carry forward the nation’s founding promises toward a more just future.
Rooted in Oatlands’ tradition of inclusive historical interpretation, Together We Win illuminates stories of resilience, service, and hope during wartime—and reminds us that the story of the nation is continually shaped and reshaped by each generation, as communities work together to bring forward and expand the promises articulated in 1776.

Annual Meeting & Community Leadership Awards
The Loudoun Chamber will celebrate its 58th Annual Meeting & Community Leadership Awards on January 30, 2026. We will honor top community leaders and celebrated the success of the 2025 Board of Directors Chair, Scott Loftis, of Atlantic Union Bank. We will also welcome our 2026 Board and the new Chair, Chauvon McFadden of Crimson Wealth Strategies.
Annual DEIA Summit
