What is your favorite part of being an Ambassador?

I like everything about it, hosting the networking tables at the “Business at Breakfast” events, being a representative for the chamber at events, talking to people about the chamber and being the go-to person for new members.

What makes your business unique in your industry?

NWFCU is a not-for-profit financial institution, and we still have completely free checking accounts that do not require a direct deposit nor a minimum balance. We also offer a free program for employers so that their employees can take advantage of all the products & services the credit union has to offer (see question 3), including better rates than most banks. Joining is easy!

How has Chamber membership benefitted your business?

My department manages the relationships we have with outside organizations which we enter into so that their employees can join the credit union. At chamber events, I meet a lot of business owners, CEOs, managers, whose company/employees/members/volunteers can benefit from this free partnership.

What is your single best piece of advice to new Members, so they can take full advantage of their membership?

Go to orientation, the Business at Breakfast & Loudoun on Tap asap, and visit LeadShare. I think the quicker they get involved, the better this membership will work for them. I also ALWAYS encourage them to let me know what events they plan to go to, so I can tag along. It is always good to have a wing (wo)man!

What do you like about doing business here in Loudoun County?

Loudoun is such a friendly and ever-growing community. I like the variety of people that you meet here!
