Superhero 5k & Kids Fun Run

This is a fun, family-friendly event, with activities for all ages! Races include a 5K walk/run for all ages, and a 1K walk/run and Tot Sprint for the kids. There will be games and entertainment for all throughout the event at Superhero Central.

Everyone who registers by Wednesday, May 15th will receive a free race t-shirt in the size they request through registration. Note: Shirts are not available if you register after May 15th, so register early!

Race Day Schedule & Location:
8:00 am – Opening ceremony, including recognition of our nonprofit beneficiary
8:30 am – Superhero 5K Walk/Run begins
9:30 am – Superhero 1K Sprint & Superhero Tot Sprint
9:45 am – Closing ceremony, including recognition of top finishers and fundraisers

Our race village, Superhero Central, will be open throughout the event with entertainment for all ages. Children who 2+ are required to register for the event. Check out Day of Activities and vendor’s HERE.


Everyone is encouraged to wear a superhero costume! Prizes will be announced  for best costume.

As part of the festivities, we will have a costume contest for race participants. We encourage participants to get creative. Simply stop by the costume contest tent, located in Superhero Central, between the hours of 7:00 am – 9:00 am.

The winning group will be announced at the awards ceremony. A representative from your group must be present to claim your prize. Prizes will be awarded to the winners from local sponsors.

The costume categories include: 

  • Best Dressed Adult SuperHero
  • (2) Best Dressed Kid SuperHero (Ages 6-11)
  • Best Dressed Tot Superhero (ages 2-5years old)
  • Best Dressed SuperHero Group
  • Best Dressed Dog

* This is a family-friendly event so G-rated costumes only – Please do not wear large accessories or long costumes that could create hazards for children participating.

  • Kids Option #1: Superhero 1K Sprint – This provides an opportunity for children to have a real race feel for a modest distance, on a short course on the road around the parking garage. This will not be a timed event. Children should be supervised at all times by an adult.
  • Kids Option #2: Superhero Tot Sprint – For our youngest participants, we will have a very short run around Superhero Central. Children should be supervised at all times.

Friday, March 1st – Last Day for ($30) Early Bird Registration, prices go up  on March 2, 2019

Golf Tour

The Loudoun Chamber Golf Tour is back for Round 8! This casual, networking tournament pairs you and a partner against a field of over 30 two-man teams in a progressive four month tournament. Designed with the busy professional in mind, each event consists of a 9 hole round after work, followed by a short networking reception to get you home in time to put the kids to bed. The team with the lowest cumulative score after four events is the 2019 Loudoun Chamber Golf Tour Champion.

Valor Awards
