Two By Four Race Against Childhood & Canine Cancer

Join in the fun on Saturday, September 29th, 2018, as hundreds of two and four-legged athletes will again race to Crush Cancer @ Both Ends of the Leash in the 2nd Annual Two By Four Race Against Childhood and Canine Cancer in Brambleton, Virginia!  The goal of this unique race, co-hosted by the Canines-N-Kids Foundation and Smashing Walnuts Foundation is to bring our wider community together to raise awareness of. and funds for critical research to end the cancers kids and our canine companions BOTH develop!

Run, jog or walk, with or without your favorite canine companion!

There’s something for everyone at this unique certified 5K and 1 Mile Dog Jog & Fun Run!

Thiis race is a part of the Race Brambleton series, and features a:

  • Certified 5K Race
  • 1-mile Dog Jog and 
  • 1-mile Fun Run
  • Post race snacks
  • Costume contest (best dressed pup/person team)
  • Vendor/sponsor area 
  • Demonstrations by K9 teams

Net proceeds go to potentially transformative, life-saving translational and comparative cancer research with the potential to move the needle for both children and man’s best friend.

The Loudoun Chamber Golf Tour is back for Round 8! This casual, networking tournament pairs you and a partner against a field of over 30 two-man teams in a progressive four month tournament. Designed with the busy professional in mind, each event consists of a 9 hole round after work, followed by a short networking reception to get you home in time to put the kids to bed. The team with the lowest cumulative score after four events is the 2019 Loudoun Chamber Golf Tour Champion.

The Loudoun Chamber will honor local heroes, from Public Safety personnel to ordinary citizens, for their courageous, often lifesaving actions in 2018 at the 34th Annual Valor Awards ceremony on Friday, April 12th at The National Conference Center.
