The Fitness Equation Fall Fitness Charity Event Benefiting Headstrong

The Fitness Equation in South Riding is excited to announce the inaugural Fall Fitness Festival Charity Event benefiting Headstrong on September 28, 2019 from 10am-2pm. Headstrong provides post-9/11 military veterans with free mental health care. For every soldier lost in combat, 25-30 take their own lives. On average, it costs $5000 to treat one veteran. With your support, Headstrong can extend their proven program to reach more veterans in need. Your support goes a long way in helping them return home and finding renewed meaning and joy in their lives.

The Fitness Equation, located at 43360 Defender Dr. Chantilly, will open its doors to the public for a FREE Day For All! We will have fitness classes going on every half hour outside and inside the gym from Bootcamp, Zumba, Yoga and more! Many contests will take place like Strong Man, Ninja Warrior, Tug of War and a basketball free throw contest! There will be live music and a Kid’s Zone with Bounce Houses, Touch-a-Truck, glitter tattoos, craft centers and more! A silent auction will take place as well as raffles going on every hour with great prizes like a one-year TFE membership valued at over $1,000, a Redskins game day package valued at over $350; all to benefit Headstrong. Food trucks from Village Café & Kona Ice will be on site and Uncle Rockers BBQ will be grilling out on the spot! A percentage of all food sales will be donated back to Headstrong. Local vendors will also be on site selling and promoting their products. Lastly, Redskins Hall of Fame Cornerback, Darrell Green will be on site for a meet and greet photo session! We kindly request no autographs. We are hoping this will be a yearly event that we can build upon with your support!
