If you live in Virginia, you know Loudoun County loves its wine. Driving through the County, you can see the countless breathtaking vineyards right from the country roads. The numbers confirm what we see with our own eyes in this community. Loudoun County makes up 1% of the land, yet Loudoun grows 19% of Virginia’s wine grapes, and the annual wine production is valued at $36 million. While Loudoun County’s ample wine selection and contribution to the local economy and culture is no secret, Tracy Hamlin’s Sweet Jazz & Wine Festival combines beloved wine with one of Loudoun’s best kept secrets: the lively jazz culture and renowned jazz artists.
Set at Tarara Winery, located at 13648 Tarara Ln, Tracy Hamlin’s highly anticipated Sweet Jazz & Wine Festival is to take place on October 12, 2019, from 12:30-8:30 PM. Doors open at 11:30 AM. The featured lineup of jazz artists includes the renowned saxophonist Art Sherrod Jr., guitarist Eric Essix, flutist Kim Scott, pianist Alex Bugnon, vocalist Tracy Hamlin, and the headliner Rick Braun on the Trumpet, among other immensely talented local Loudoun County Jazz artists. Partial proceeds from the festival will go to supporting music instruction for local students from low-income families. Annual Real Estate Event
While Loudoun outperforms other Virginia counties on most economic measures, we still face many challenges to our future prosperity. Whether it’s our investment in Metro, a housing affordability crisis or attracting a millennial workforce, Loudoun’s challenges demand effective solutions.
On Monday, August 19, 2019, we hosted our 37th Annual Golf Classic event at the award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf course, The Club at Creighton Farms. This course is one of the finest on the Eastern Seaboard — is nothing short of spectacular. This event has been Loudoun County’s Premier business golf tournament for three decades.
For the past 8 years, this casual, networking tournament pairs you and a partner against a field of over 30 two-man teams in a progressive four month tournament. Designed with the busy professional in mind, each event consists of a 9-hole round after work, followed by a short networking reception to get you home in time to put the kids to bed. The team with the lowest cumulative score after four events is the champion. The 2019 Winners were Tom Reed and Greg Wells. Congratulations! Stay tuned for the 2020 Golf Tour dates.
