ServingTogether One Year In Progress Review

The National Capital Region is home to over 300,000 veterans. ServingTogether, EveryMind’s commitment to veterans, service members and their families, successfully coordinates a system of care to promote the mental and physical health and wellness of those who have served our country.

On July 11, 2019, ServingTogether will host its One Year In Progress Review and will include:

  • Network data that highlights the top challenges and emerging trends faced by our military community;
  • A client’s perspective of the network’s life-changing impact; and
  • A discussion by a panel of current network providers sharing how the network ensures better long-term outcomes.

“The ServingTogether network is transforming the way we coordinate services and strengthening our ability to effectively and efficiently meet the needs of our service members, veterans and their families,” said Michael Ball, Director of ServingTogether.

The In Progress Review is for health and human service providers, elected officials, funders, nonprofits and any entity interested in seeking effective solutions that support our military-connected community. For more information or to register for the event, please visit www.Every-Mind.org.

Over the last eight years, ServingTogether has developed a robust, coordinated system of care across the National Capital Region to address pressing needs of the more than 300,000 veterans who live here. In 2017, EveryMind embarked on a partnership with Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) to bring its AmericaServes program to our region. The AmericaServes model was identified as the best way to significantly improve the care coordination and delivery system for veterans, service members and their families by reducing or eliminating identified barriers. This partnership offers additional resources that are helping us transform the region’s assets and create a more efficient system that ultimately increases the capacity for providers in the network and strengthens the system of care as a whole.
