PolicyMaker Series: 2022 Commonwealth Outlook

This next year will be critical in shaping the future of Virginia for many years to come.

There will be a new Governor and a new Lieutenant Governor, the 2021 House elections may shift the majority the Democrats currently hold in the house, and once completed, redistricting could send many seats back to elections in the Fall of 2022. Through this looming disruption, it is vital that Virginia continues to drive forward on key economic development issues such as maximizing growth of the tech sector and other high demand industries, ensuring that we have enough workforce housing that is critical to growth, while protecting critical infrastructure while looking forward to a more sustainable future.

Join us as we close out 2021 with an engaging and entertaining conversation with Jeff Schapiro, longtime political columnist with the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Renss Greene, Deputy Editor of Loudoun Now, and moderated by Tracy Baynard of McGuireWoods Consulting. Our panelists will be discussing what is happening behind the scenes in Richmond and what they believe we should expect as 2022 approaches.

Valor Awards

Loudoun County’s public safety personnel are our community’s real life heroes, and many of these career and volunteer first responders truly delivered above and beyond the call of duty in 2020.

The Loudoun Chamber honored our community’s real life heroes on July 26, 2021, including several truly heroic citizens, for their courageous, often lifesaving actions, at the 36th Annual Loudoun County Valor Awards.  Loudoun’s top business and community leaders joined us for this proud Chamber tradition, and demonstrated their respect and appreciation for these dedicated public servants and their selfless acts of heroism and service.  View Program Here / View Event Photos Here
