The Speechcraft Workshop is best suited for non-Toastmasters or new Toastmasters members. If you are a more experienced Toastmaster, please consider referring this event and workshop to non-Toastmasters or new Toastmasters members that may benefit from the workshop.
Online Speechcraft Workshop is a program presented by Toastmasters based on the official Toastmasters International Speechcraft Program. Speechcraft is a short intensive public speaking course run by experienced Toastmasters offering a safe and supportive environment in which to learn. Our small class size enables more effective mentoring and affords participants greater confidence.

Taking part in this Speechcraft course will help you in your work and personal life. You will improve your communication skills and self-confidence.

You will gain the following from the Speechcraft Workshop:

➢ Experience organizing, preparing, and delivering speeches
➢ Increase your confidence in front of an audience
➢ Improve your spontaneous speaking ability
➢ Practice your presentation skills
➢ Develop your leadership potential.

This Speechcraft Workshop is customized and uniquely combined with Toastmasters Pathways.

Workshop participants will have the opportunity to earn the Pathways Level 1 Award.

This Speechcraft Workshop will be conducted entirely online as virtual Zoom meetings.

Although the Toastmasters presenter team has been preparing this workshop for several months, the format was converted to an all-online format after the advent of the coronavirus pandemic.

✔︎ Each participant receives a professionally published Speechcraft Manual plus a range of learning materials.
✔︎ The workshop provides training in key speaking skills.
✔︎ Participants develop skills through the 3-point program of: ‘Better Listening, Better Thinking, Better Speaking’.

Workshops are held at noon on Wednesdays.
There is a free Overview and Orientation Meeting on May 27. The workshop continues weekly from June 3 through July 22.

There is a nominal fee of $60 which pays for the participant’s 40-page workbook as well as membership in Toastmasters International and access to ongoing meetings after the workshop concludes.
Existing Toastmasters and previous members pay only $40.
