SUMMARY:Loudoun Nonprofit Academy Workshop: A Practical AI Session for Nonp
 rofit Teams
DESCRIPTION:What Slipped This Week:\nA Practical AI Session for Nonprofit T
eams\n\n\nSomething fell through this week. A donor who went quiet. A deci
sion that got raised again because nobody wrote down what you settled last
time. A report you meant to pull. A conversation you have now had four ti
mes.\n\nNone of it is a crisis. That is exactly why it keeps happening. Th
e steady\, invisible movement of a week away from the shape you meant it t
o have is what this session calls the Drift\, and most teams do not catch
it until something breaks.\n\nThis working session names the four places d
rift shows up: decisions\, capacity\, people\, and patterns. Participants
then learn the Friday Four\, a four-question ritual that uses AI as a thin
king partner to catch the slip while it is still small. The session covers
what to actually do with AI\, what to keep it away from\, and how to buil
d the habit in thirty minutes a week without adding another tool to mainta
in.\n\nParticipants work with their own real examples in the room.\n\nWhat
you will walk away with:\n\n The four places work slips\, and how to spo
t it in your own week\n The Friday Four prompt set\, tested live on your
own work\n A practical line for what AI should and should not touch in a
small shop\n A thirty-minute ritual you can start this Friday with no new
software\n\n\nIntended Audience: Best fit for executive directors\, devel
opment directors\, operations staff\, and anyone responsible for keeping a
small team's work from slipping. Board members are welcome\, though the e
xercises are built for people inside day to day.\n\nNote: This is a workin
g session. Participants should bring a laptop or tablet. A phone will work
but is harder for prompt exercises.\n\nPresented by Erin Peshoff\, Founde
r\, Vivid Operational Advisors\n\nErin Peshoff is the Founder of Vivid Ope
rational Advisors\, a Leesburg firm that works with nonprofits whose ambit
ion has outpaced their systems. She spent 28 years raising money before sh
e started building the systems underneath it\, which is why she reads thes
e problems differently. A database nobody trusts is a donor retention prob
lem. A process that lives in one person's head is a burnout problem. Her m
ethod\, the Editor-Architect Framework\, starts by removing what is in the
way rather than adding something new. She holds a Master of Education fro
m The College of William and Mary\, a Bachelor of Arts from Marquette Univ
ersity\, and a Certificate of Applied Positive Psychology from The Flouris
 hing Center\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;
