Tax Updates and Planning for Tax Year 2022
Important information will be shared affecting tax year 2022, including qualifying for tax reliefs related to natural disasters and how to claim the loss. If you have a small business, understand which tax credits and benefits are available to lower tax liability. Enrolled agents can earn 1 CE for attending this presentation.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Angie Toney is the owner of Angel Financial Services LLC where she creates strategies for taxpayers who need to get the IRS off their backs and out of their pockets. She has had a successful career for over 30 years in corporate internal audit. She developed strong investigatory and problem-solving skills in that profession. In addition, a commitment to ethics and
compliance makes her a trustworthy practitioner in tax representation cases.
Her ultimate goal is to close the IRS and/or state cases with the least amount of liability as possible. To date, Ms. Toney has saved her clients over one million dollars in tax liability through fair installment agreements, current non-collectible status, offers and proper tax planning.
Ms. Toney’s credentials include a BS in Accounting and an MA in Global Management. She is a New York Certified Public Accountant / Personal Financial Specialist (CPA/PFS), Certified Tax Planner (CTP), and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
Ms. Toney is married with two children and lives in Northern Virginia. Outside of work, she enjoys various types of volunteer work such as mentoring youths and participating in adult literacy/training programs. She serves as a board member on the Loudoun Estate Planning Council, a local nonprofit association with a mission to provide an inclusive and interdisciplinary forum for estate-planning professionals to foster relationships and enhance their proficiency in the field, and to promote charitable programs that educate the public about the importance of estate planning.

On Monday, August 21, 2023, the 41st Annual Chamber Classic will be held at The Club at Creighton Farms. This event has been Loudoun County’s premier business golf tournament for four decades.
