SUMMARY:LCPL’s Summer Reading Program
DESCRIPTION:Step into a “Realm of Stories” with Loudoun County Public L
 ibrary’s (LCPL) Summer Reading Program beginning Saturday\, June 14. All
  community members are invited to sign up online and track their progress 
 at library.loudoun.gov/SRP.\n\nThis year’s fantasy-themed program is pac
 ked with nine weeks of free\, family-friendly events and activities that p
 romote the joy of reading and library use throughout the summer. All regis
 trants can pick up a complimentary weekday child’s pass to Great Country
  Farms at any branch.\n\nThe program is designed for all ages and reading 
 levels\, with different sets of challenges tailored for pre-readers\, elem
 entary schoolers\, teens and adults. Those who complete 10 challenges by S
 aturday\, August 16\, will earn a free book and two tickets to select Wash
 ington Nationals games (while supplies last).\n\nAfter participants mark t
 heir challenge activities complete online\, they will be automatically ent
 ered into a raffle. This year\, in addition to gift baskets for each age g
 roup\, there will be four ultimate grand prizes: a Nintendo Switch 2\, a D
 ungeons &amp\; Dragons bundle\, a $300 gift card to Tuscarora Mill or a on
 e-year subscription to CrunchLabs. Bonus activities are available for thos
 e who wish to earn an extra raffle entry.\n\n“We’re excited to expand 
 our prize offerings to appeal to different interests\, as this program tru
 ly is for everybody\,” said Susan VanEpps\, Division Manager of Programm
 ing and Community Engagement. “In your online account\, be sure to indic
 ate which grand prize you’d like should you win!”\n\nHeadline events w
 ill take place at all LCPL branches as well as two local venues\, with som
 e weeks featuring up to eleven live performances across the county. This y
 ear’s lineup includes exciting new acts such as storyteller Dino O'Dell 
 and the princesses of Enchanted Empowerment\, thanks to generous support f
