Immigrant Workforce & Hiring Documentation Seminar, Presented by DOJ Civil Rights Division Immigrant and Employee Rights Section

Did you know that refugees’ and asylees’ permission to work does not expire?

This workshop is intended to help employers understand issues that may come up during hiring and while completing the employment eligibility verification process (Form I-9 and E-Verify) for a refugee or asylee.

Sara-Daisy Dygert of IER will educate attendees about workers’ rights and employer responsibilities under the anti-discrimination provision of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Attendees will learn about free, anonymous guidance and educational resources available to them from IER.
