Unlocking Opportunities: Employing Individuals with Convictions

As employers deepen their DE&I initiatives amidst a nationwide focus on racial justice, the EEOC presents this two-hour workshop on employing people who have criminal convictions. The workshop will explore the EEOC’s guidance on the use of arrest and conviction records in employment and host a lively panel discussion addressing myths and realities about employing individuals with prior criminal histories. This training is designed for legal, business, and HR professionals.

CREDITS:

SHRM Credits: This program has been submitted for approval.

HRCI Credits: This program has been submitted to the HR Certification Institute for review.

CLE Credits: Seeking 2 CLE credit hours in California, Nevada, Texas and Virginia.

This seminar has been approved for 2 hours of Federal Counselor or Investigator Refresher Credits.

Annual Meeting & Community Leadership Awards

The Loudoun Chamber celebrated it’s Annual Meeting & Community Leadership Awards on March 3, 2022. We honored top business and community leaders and celebrated the success of the Chamber’s 2021 Board of Directors Chair, Stacey Metcalfe, Morven Park, and welcome in our 2022 Board.

The 2022 Community Leadership Award winners in each category will have the opportunity to select one nonprofit organization to receive a $1,000 grant, thanks to the generosity of the Community Foundation of Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties.
