And, we are joining in the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce #LeapOfKindnessDay festivities by encouraging you to de-clutter your closet with gently used clothes, accessories, or purses for women (and children) to be donated to Women Giving Back.

About Kerry:

Kerry Thomas, owner of Conquer the Chaos, attended the University of Florida where she received her Bachelor’s and Masters degrees in Special Education. She taught for eight years before a career change brought her to Professional Organizing, and her business was launched in 2007. In 2014, she completed a rigorous training program and became a Certified Productive Environment Specialist™, focusing on office organization.

Kerry’s education background gives her a unique perspective on how learning styles impact organization, time management, and productivity. She helps her clients create and maintain systems to combat overwhelm. She specializes in small business owners with ADD, and believes that anyone can have a productive environment, all it takes is the right combination of tools and techniques. She is passionate about helping clients streamline, optimize and organize their environments, personal or professional, for productivity and peace of mind.

About Elena:

Elena Sonnino is a life coach, speaker, and yoga teacher. But what most people say about Elena is that she brings delightful sparks of energy to everything she does. Her work with individuals and groups is an invitation to unearth, attune to, and embody inner strength and wisdom – or as Elena calls it, the “sunrise in your pocket.” She inspires individuals and groups to thrive in their lives with more curiosity, purpose, and delight.

Elena spent 12 years as a teacher leader in Fairfax County where she nurtured potential and possibility in students, faculty members, and even parents. Drawing on her experiences in the classroom and in life, Elena began her life coaching career in 2016 – earning her certification from the Martha Back Institute. She inspires individuals and groups to remove self-imposed obstacles so that they can live fully, as their truest self in the now. Her work has been featured by Rancho La Puerta Wellness Resort and Spa, Four Seasons Hotel Washington DC, and on Tiny Buddha and the Chopra Center.

Annual Meeting & Community Leadership Awards

The Loudoun Chamber celebrated its 55th Annual Meeting & Community Leadership Awards on Friday, January 20, 2023 at The National Conference Center. We honored top community leaders as well as celebrate the success of the 2022 Board of Directors Chair, Shawn Mitchell, owner of Modern Mechanical. We will also welcomed in our 2023 Board and the new Chair Carol Barbe, owner of Backflow Technology.

The 2023 Community Leadership Award winners in each category had the opportunity to select one nonprofit organization to receive a $1,000 grant, thanks to the generosity of the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties. Stay tuned for more information about the 2024 Annual Meeting. 2023 Event Photos

For 28 years, the Loudoun Small Business Awards have been the most prestigious honors celebrating the best small businesses, entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations in our Loudoun community.
