DESCRIPTION:The Loudoun VA250 Committee is proud to announce the launch of 
 the “Breadbasket of the Revolution” Food Drive\, a community-wide effo
 rt benefiting Loudoun Hunger Relief. The food drive will run from Flag Day
  on June 14 through Independence Day on July 4. Flag Day commemorates the 
 adoption of the United States flag by the Second Continental Congress on J
 une 14\, 1777. This year\, July 4 marks the 250th anniversary of the signi
 ng of the Declaration of Independence.\n\nOrganizers have set an ambitious
  goal of collecting 1\,776 pounds of food\, a tribute to the year America 
 declared its independence. Donations will be accepted at six historic site
 s throughout Loudoun County: the Loudoun Museum\, Loudoun Heritage Farm Mu
 seum\, Waterford Foundation\, Oatlands\, Dodona Manor\, and Morven Park In
 ternational Equestrian Center.\n\nThe food drive honors Loudoun County’s
  historic role in supporting the American Revolution while helping meet a 
 critical need in the community today.\n\n
