Booz Allen Hamilton & SBA reps discuss doing business with Prime Contractors

Come learn how to be ready to successfully subcontract with prime contractors such as Booz Allen Hamilton. This month features an extended program with two speakers who will share with you the preparation, mindset and strategies needed to do business with prime contractors.

First up is Robert Duhart, Booz Allen Hamilton’s Lead in their Small Business Office. Mr. Duhart’s role is to connect with, prepare and provide direction to small government contractors who wish to do business with Booz Allen Hamilton. Robert’s other previous experience notably includes, VP, Biz Dev & Operations with ST International, VP of Federal Biz Dev with Suh’Dutsing Technologies and Director, and Small Business Outreach with U.S. EPA, among other roles with Eastman Kodak Company and TRW, Inc. He will talk about what Booz is looking for in subs, opportunities that may be available and the best way to approach them.

Our second presenter is Roderick (Rod) Johnson who is currently is a Lending Relations/Small Business Development Center Project Officer for the SBA’s Washington D.C. Metropolitan District Office. Mr. Johnson’s presentation will focus on financial aspects of your business that you should have in order before working with large primes. Rod is a native Washingtonian with over 30 years of experience in Commercial/ Business Banking lending specifically to the Not-for-Profit, Government Contracting and Commercial Real Estate industries. He is also CEO at RLJ Financial Consultants, LLC. Johnson holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Masters of Science Degree in Financial Management.
