About Loudoun Therapeutic Riding: For 45 years, Loudoun Therapeutic Riding has been a leading local therapeutic riding program in the Northern Virginia area, empowering and improving the lives of people with cognitive, physical and psychological disabilities. This includes people of all ages with disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, muscular dystrophy, stroke and others, as well as veterans, adolescents, and the elderly.
No one is ever turned away from our program due to inability to pay and veterans receive services at no cost. Providing these life-changing services would not be possible without support from our community. Our annual Preakness Party is our primary event to raise the funds we need to operate our facility and provide services to those in need.
