The Loudoun Nonprofit Academy

The Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the launch of the Loudoun Nonprofit Academy training and certificate series in partnership with the Community Foundation for Loudoun & Northern Fauquier Counties. The Academy’s series of educational programs and workshops is designed to help Loudoun County’s nonprofit organizations, professionals, and volunteers complement their performance by gaining access to best practices in administration, finance, public relations, outreach, and resource development.
Loudoun Nonprofit Academy attendees who complete 40 hours of Academy training earn a “Certified Nonprofit Professionals” designation from the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce.
The program allows participants to achieve 40 hours in four core areas of nonprofit fundamentals:
- 12 Hours of Resource Development
- 12 Hours of Administration & Financial Management
- 12 Hours of Public Relations & Community Outreach
- 4 Hours of Elective Chamber Program Event Attendance.
Any member of the Loudoun community is welcome to attend these Nonprofit Academy workshops. The “Certified Nonprofit Professionals” designation is reserved for Loudoun Chamber members.
