Support the “Give Choose” Crowd Funding Campaign!

Chamber sponsoring $500 prize to charity that raises the most in donations between 2 and 4 pm!
The Community Foundation of Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties is encouraging every chamber member to support Give Choose this Tuesday, May 5. This crowd funding event raises funds for 48 local charities in a single day.
Starting at 12:01 am on May 5 and running through midnight, donors can log onto givechoose.org from anywhere in the US to donate $10 or more to the charity or charities of their choice, whether they support animal welfare, the arts, education, health & wellness, or conservation.
The day is all about community philanthropy. A dozen of the charities will be offering challenge gifts. Business owners, including many Chamber members, will be matching employee donations. And the Community Foundation will be offering special prizes for charities that reach certain milestones throughout the day. In its inaugural year last year, Give Choose raised $65,000 in 24 hours for 40 charities that positively impact the quality of life for all who live, work, and play in Loudoun and Fauquier Counties.
To participate, consider do one or more of the following:
- Donate to your favorite charities through the Give Choose website
- Let your employees know you will match their donations
- Tell your families, friends and colleagues about this campaign
- Share links to our website and Facebook with everyone on your Facebook page! (Don’t forget to like the Community Foundation as well as Give Choose!
