NOTE:The Chamber bases membership dues on the number of full-time employees. Two part-time employees equal one full-time employee. Dues are not deductible as charitable contributions; however, they may possibly qualify for tax deductibility as ordinary and necessary businesses expenses. The Loudoun Chamber is a 501(c)6 corporation. Please consult your tax advisor regarding deductibility. The Chamber estimates that 1% of your membership dues investment is allocated to lobby expenditures, and therefore under federal law 1% of your dues are not deductible as a business expense. Dues are non-refundable.
Businesses, not individuals, are Chamber members. A member’s principal representative carries that member’s voting power and may be elected to serve as an officer or a member of the Executive Committee or Board of Directors. A member’s associate representatives, although not having that member’s voting or office holding privileges, may serve and vote at the Committee level. Chamber publications will commonly list principal and associate representatives.
Becoming a member authorizes the Chamber to send e-mail, mail, telephone and fax notifications of upcoming events and news.
