Despite a new regulatory environment some community banks are thriving

As this fine article in Virginia Business states, America’s community banks are facing strong headwinds.

But in spite of tough competition, an underperforming economy and the heavy-handed approach of federal regulators and Congress, many community banks are doing just fine, thank you.
