YP Spotlight: Victoria Rawlings

 

Meet Victoria Rawlings from AR Group

 

Victoria Rawlings from ARGroup, a technology company headquartered in Tysons Corner, Va., currently serves as Chair of the Community Service Subcommittee of the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Committee.

“I’ve gained so much from being a part of the Loudoun Chamber. I’ve met amazing young leaders, grown in my career, and made lasting friendships,” said Victoria of her time on the YP Committee.

In 2013, she served as Chair of the YP Committee where she contributed passion and talent for organization that helped the committee stay focused and put their all into reaching the young professionals of Loudoun County, Va.

“My impression of Victoria in working with her on the YP Committee has been that she is smart as a whip, always prepared, and puts her all into everything she does. She’s a role model to those around her,” said Steph McGuinn, Chair of the Marketing Subcommittee of the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Committee.

Victoria plays an integral role at ARGroup where as Director, Client Services, she manages accounts and projects; oversees all procurement; along with managing business operations, human resources and networking and marketing. Within her first year at the company, she reorganized ARGroup’s internal operations, streamlining the processes for items such as contract management, hardware and software procurement, inventory management and client financials. She has also worked to build and maintain new vendor and referral partnerships.

“Victoria is a dedicated, hard-working employee that is always striving to get the job done while providing exemplary customer service,” said Scott Hundley, President of ARGroup.

This proud mother of son Alexander who is six years old, loves being in the technology field because she can truly learn something new every day. She sees it as an ever evolving field in which she gets to see firsthand how the way we conduct business through the use of technology is a constant evolution.

In addition to all of the hats she wears at work, Victoria is an active volunteer in the community where she currently holds or has held the following positions:

Victoria is passionate about bringing awareness to the young professionals in Loudoun County that they are the next generation of leadership in both the community and in business. In her quest to accomplish this, she serves the community in many ways, including:

  • At the BJSP, a complete volunteer based organization, she worked as a direct one-on-one coach, panelist and conducted mock interviews for job seekers in VA, DC, MD
  • She taught monthly networking classes, held mock interviews, conducted resume writing and interview coaching for the Loudoun Workforce Readiness Center
  • In May, Victoria was a volunteer panelist for the Women In Technology’s Girls In Technology
  • She is a passionate representative  on behalf of the Young Professionals in getting Rail To Dulles passed

With all that she does, it’s not hard to see why she has won several awards for her work, including:

  • 2013 and 2014 Loudoun Community Leadership Award Finalist
  • 2013 Loudoun Business Journal feature: Six Young Business Professionals
  • 2012 Outstanding Leadership: Loudoun Workforce Readiness Center
  • 2011 Leesburg Today Top 30 Under 30

Whether it’s in the technology field, local community, or as a mother, Victoria is engaged and enthusiastic about everything she does and serves as a role model for young professionals in Loudoun County.
