Young Entrepreneurs Academy Parent/Student Info Meetings Announced

YEA! Loudoun turns students into CEOs, helping them launch their own business

Lansdowne, VAThe Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce and the Loudoun Economic Development Authority will hold three upcoming public information sessions to provide local middle and high school students and their parents an opportunity to learn more about the Young Entrepreneurs Academy that will begin this October.

The Young Entrepreneurs Academy is a groundbreaking program that will transform local students into real entrepreneurs. Through YEA! Loudoun students will develop business ideas, write business plans, conduct market research, pitch their plans to a panel of investors, and launch their own legal, fully formed companies or nonprofit organizations.

The YEA! Loudoun class will meet from 5-8 pm one day a week from October through May.  Classes will be held at the Mason Enterprise Center in downtown Leesburg.

These information sessions will be held on August 10, 24 and September 7 for students and their parents, where they will meet our YEA! Program Manager, the classroom instructors and business mentors. Attendance is free but pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
