Greater Reston, Loudoun County and Arlington Chambers of Commerce collaborate to produce Northern Virginia Restaurant Week in Partnership with the Virginia Restaurant, Lodging & Travel Association

Placing the Needs of Local Northern Virginia Restaurants and Hotels First

Lansdowne, VA – Starting in 2016, the Greater Reston, Loudoun County and Arlington Chambers of Commerce are collaborating to produce the 3rd Annual Northern Virginia Restaurant Week! Virginia Restaurant, Lodging and Travel Association (VRLTA) will partner on this event for the second year in a row to put together one of the largest dining out celebrations in Northern Virginia. Running March 7-14, the 3rd Annual Northern Virginia Restaurant Week will be a week-long, value priced dining experience taking place at a variety of establishments from fine dining to fast casual. The goal of this event is to enhance the vibrant restaurant and hotel scene in Northern Virginia.

“The Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to placing the needs of the Northern Virginia hospitality and restaurant community first. Collaborating with the Loudoun and Arlington Chambers and continuing our partnership with VRLTA will bring more business to the Northern Virginia area during an ordinarily slow time for the restaurant and hospitality industry. The Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to working with Arlington and Loudoun Chambers to promote business development and marketing exposure,” states Mark Ingrao, CCP, CAE, President and CEO of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce.

This year, Northern Virginia Restaurant Week will again be working with OpenTable to provide participating foodies a chance to make stress-free reservations.

“We are looking forward to collaborating with both the Greater Reston and Loudoun County Chambers on Northern Virginia Restaurant Week,” said Kate Roche, President & CEO of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce. “Participating in this event is just one of the many ways that Chamber involvement adds value for the restaurants and hotels in our region.”

“Northern Virginia Restaurant Week is yet another great example of our local Chambers working in partnership to support the success of our member businesses. The Loudoun County Chamber is proud to partner with the Arlington and Greater Reston chambers to produce Restaurant Week and to work together to support our restaurant and hospitality industry,” said Tony Howard, President and CEO, Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce.

Restaurants and hotels are encouraged to register for this dining out celebration prior to February 2, 2016 to be included in all advertising and promotional materials! The partnering organizations will continue to accept registration forms until February 23, 2016.

“VRLTA is once again excited to be partnering with the Reston Chamber to advise and help build this annual event,” said Eric Terry, President of the Virginia Restaurant, Lodging & Travel Association. “Restaurant Weeks create an opportunity for new and existing customers to try new restaurants and cuisines. We are excited to be growing in 2016 to more counties, establishing this as the top restaurant week in the region.”
