Leesburg, VA – The Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce today launched its 2011 "BizVotes Election Education Campaign" to educate Loudoun's voters on where the candidates for the County's state and local offices stand on the Chamber's pro-economic prosperity agenda.
Now in its fifth election cycle, the Loudoun County Chamber's "BizVotes Campaign" will feature an intensive communications program designed to keep business leaders and the candidates informed on the business issues that will decide the 2011 elections.
The BizVotes Campaign will focus on candidates for the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors and those districts in the Senate and House of Delegates that represent Loudoun County. The campaign also will provide information on candidates for Loudoun County's School Board and Constitutional Offices.
The BizVotes Campaign will include a candidates' questionnaire focused on Loudoun's top business issues, regular election-related e-mail messages, media promotion, get-out-the-vote efforts, candidates' forums, website, a social media campaign, and more.
"On November 8, Loudoun's voters will decide who will lead our county for the next four years and choose their representatives in the General Assembly. The BizVotes Campaign will equip voters with the information to determine which candidates are committed to supporting policies that will protect Loudoun's economic prosperity and world class quality of life," said Chamber President Tony Howard.
Chamber members and the candidates will receive BizVotes communications, including regular updates on the campaigns, election-related news, resources for voters, and the candidates' responses to the questionnaire. To subscribe to BizVotes alerts, contact Tony Howard at thoward@loudounchamber.org.
